At F&Y we pride ourselves on being transparent throughout the whole recruitment process and we work to support our candidates every step of the way and beyond.

Step 1

The candidate will be able to search and select a school on the website and register here or apply on the vacancies page here.

Step 2

Our recruitment team will process the application and if successful, the F&Y team will arrange a Skype interview with our team, the candidate and the school.

Step 3

If an offer from the school is given, the F&Y team will contact the candidate and will provide an offer letter and contract to the candidate within 5 days.

Step 4

The candidate will sign the contract and will provide three basic e-documents (scanned copy):

  1. Passport first page and visa page
  2. Passport style photo (2 inches x 2 inches)
  3. Bachelors degree

Step 5 

The candidate will sign the contracts for getting the work permit notice, the following documents will be required:

  1. Certificate of employment (if applicants have two years of relevant experience)
  2. TEFL certificate (if the applicant does not have two years of relevant experience and not have a degree in education or language)
  3. Bachelor degree or above authentication
  4. DBS certificate
  5. Health report

*Working permit notice is a sponsoring letter for VISA

*Health report should be signed and sealed by your doctor

*The authentications should be issued from the local Chinese Embassy

Step 6

The F&Y team submits your documents to the Foreign Expert Bureau and in turn, will receive the working permit notice. The team will mail the working permit notice and invitation letter to the candidate, this will be completed within 14 days.

Step 7 

The candidate will need to apply for Chinese Working Visa and purchase flight tickets to China.

Step 8 

The candidate will arrive in China and will complete a health examination.

Step 9

The candidate will participate in teacher training for usually between 3-5 days.

Step 10

The candidate will visit the school and process the relevant documents with their staff.
